By road – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is about 530Kms from Kampala City which is 10 hours journey. The park can be reached by road from several directions: through Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kihihi to Buhoma 160 Kms is 5 hours. From Kigali  via Ruhija to Buhoma 218 Kms takes 7.5 hours, From Kabale via Kanungu to Buhoma is 112 Kms (5 hours.), From Kisoro via Rubuguri to Nkuringo 33 Kms takes 2hours Savannah Airstrip Kihihi to Buhoma 45 kms takes 1.5 hours.

By Air – You can fly from Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi airfield to the tarmac airfield at Kisoro town. Visitors to Buhoma can fly from Kajjansi airfield Kampala, to Savannah Kihihi Airstrip.
