Cardamom Beach House Vipingo

Cardamom House is an elegant Swahili-influenced holiday home perched on a coral outcrop that overlooks its private beach cove hidden in between coconut palms and preserved coastal wilderness in the marine conservation area of Kuruwitu in Vipingo. This home is ideal for families looking to relax and unwind by the beach or for groups of friends looking for a getaway.

Cardamom House is made up of four villas: Manda Toto, Lulu, The Tower, and Shela. Each villa has its own private ensuite bedroom and can be rented separately or together. Each villa has its own private ensuite bedroom. Cardamom House sleeps 20 comfortably.

Manda Toto is the main villa which has the main common and entertainment space, the dining room, and the bar. It also consists of two penthouse suites with two private bedrooms in each, accommodating a total of 8 people with their own private dining and kitchen. Villa Lulu has a single-level bedroom that can be a twin or double bedroom with its own ensuite.

The Tower is an amazing pink tower with three levels, each level complete with its own bedroom and private bathroom accommodating 6 people total. The Tower has a rooftop terrace with the most incredible views. Villa Shela has two floors each with its own bedroom accommodating a total of 4 people.

Cardamom House has direct access to the white sandy beach and the kaleidoscope of blue and green waters below.  The villa is Self-catering but cooks are on hand and the rest of the house is fully staffed. Vipingo golf course is located close by and there is beautiful goggling in the Kuruwitu Conservation area nearby.

The un-spoilt beaches are empty, quiet, and peaceful and there are lovely walks in the area including the local fishing village. Easily accessible, it’s only a half-hour drive to Mombasa and an hour to Malindi. 

Leave your book and newspaper on one of the inviting hammocks or on a beach bed under a stylish shaded banda, prepared just for you. While you take a refreshing dip or walk down the beach, your butler prepares your favorite crisp white wine that you had enjoyed during the wine-tasting in the Cellar earlier that day…
