Chyulu Club (Chyulu Lodge) is a luxury safari accommodation situated on the Olpusare Conservancy, a wilderness sanctuary located between the sacred Chyulu Hills and Mount Kilimanjaro, at the heart of a Maasai ranch and on the boundary with Tsavo West National Park. Chyulu Club is just 30 miles away from 19,341 ft Kilimanjaro,

The property stretches from the Chyulu Hills to the foothills of majestic Mt Kilimanjaro (the highest mountain in Africa at 19,342 feet). The altitude ranges from 3,000 to 6,900 feet, encompassing a diverse range of habitats. Biodiversity is vibrant.

Chyulu Club Accommodations

Chyulu Club accommodates 12 guests in three luxury tented double cottages and three luxury tented twin cottages, all set on wooden platforms with thatched roofs and large en-suite bathrooms, featuring indoor and outdoor showers, as well as a special eco-friendly flush toilet. The bedding is made of the finest Italian linen.

Chyulu Club Safari Activities 

Chyulu Club and our sister lodge, Campi ya Kanzi, are the only ones in a 400,000-acre Maasai wilderness. Guests will enjoy genuine African wilderness in exclusivity, away from the crowded zoo safari experience of national parks. Included activities: game drives in EVs, game walks, forest walks, horseback riding, and Maasai village visits.

Optional activities, available at an additional cost, include massages, scenic flights, and excursions to Tsavo National Park and Amboseli National Park.

Personal Hosting 

You will not be in a hotel, but in our homes in the bush. We are Luca and Antonella (founders) and the Maasai (landlords of this paradise), and we will, collectively, be your hosts. All activities will be tailor-made to your desires, from classic game drives in various habitats to lovely game walks with your Maasai guide and tracker.

Chyulu Club Lodge welcomes guests in tented cottages raised above the ground on wooden platforms. There are 6 Luxury Tents all with en-suite bathrooms and an indoor and outdoor showers. The Lodge welcomes guests in tented cottages raised above the ground on wooden platforms.

Choose from our Luxury or Quadruple Tents, depending on your preference; all tents have en-suite bathrooms. All guests pay a nightly Conservation Fee as part of their stay to continue the invaluable work of the MWCT in maintaining and protecting the area, its animals, and the community.

There are also 14 Quadruple Tents each with an en-suite bathroom. These rooms are suited to families and groups, but we would be happy to advise you on the best choice for your stay. Your stay is all-inclusive at Chyulu Club: all meals and transport during your Club experience are organized by the lodge.
