Dafina Cottage Holiday Home Naivasha is located at the Great Rift Lodge and Golf Resort in Naivasha. The cottage is situated 90 km (2 hours’ drive) North West of Kenya’s capital Nairobi, 24 km from Naivasha town and 12 km’s off the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
Perched at a quiet corner off the 17th fairway, Dafina Cottage is an exquisite guest house with spectacular interior decor with breathtaking views of the Rift Valley, Lake Naivasha, Longonot Hills, the Aberdare ranges, and Eburru Hills.
Dafina is designed in two separate private cottages, which can open into one large house if visitors desire to use the entire facility. Dafina has upstairs and downstairs cottages which accommodate a maximum of 4 people per cottage and they can be opened to be one to accommodate a maximum of 8 guests.
Both cottages are a replica and each has 2 self-contained luxurious bedrooms; 1 double and 1 twin. There is a bar area, guest cloakroom, separate dining area, large modern kitchen, satellite TV, and large comfortable living area tastefully decorated in vibrant Swahili colors.
There are verandahs/ balconies with great views of Lake Naivasha, which also serve as breakfast and rest/ relaxation areas. Outdoor facilities in beautifully landscaped gardens including a barbecue area, garden chairs, and umbrellas.
Guests have access to the Great Rift Valley Lodge facilities which include restaurants, conference facilities, a lounge bar, a tennis court, and a swimming pool. Dafina Cottage Holiday Home Naivasha also has an airfield offering easy access to other destinations such as the famous Maasai Mara. Other activities include horse riding, boat rides, bird watching, and nature walks.
