Elephant Gorge Camp Amboseli is an intimate eco-luxury camp located in the private ALOCA (Kimana Group Ranch) Conservancy on the edge of Amboseli National Park.

With just a handful of themed guest residences and a focus on exclusivity, sustainability, and personalized service, the camp provides a tranquil escape where guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of Mount Kilimanjaro and observe wildlife from the comfort of their suites or the main lounge overlooking a busy waterhole.

Amboseli is world-renowned for its giant elephant herds, dramatic Kilimanjaro backdrop, and rich biodiversity, and Elephant Gorge Camp offers prime access through guided drives, bush walks, and cultural encounters with the local Maasai community.

Elephant Gorge Camp Amboseli has  5 Rooms & Suites distinctively themed residences (The Hunter, The Adventurer, The Artist, The Bird Watcher and The Moran) that offer the real African adventure each filled with art from artists from all over the world.

Each residence features a bedroom, floor to ceiling windows, dressing facilities and private patio with amazing views. The bathrooms are en-suite with bath tubs and shower. 

The lodge is not fenced allowing our guests to feel the thrills of intimate wildlife encounters yet being fully confident in the presence of 24-hour personalized security.

Guest get to enjoy local and international dishes at the main lounge beside an open fire. There is a daily set menu and special dietary requirement are available. There is also a well-stocked bar that serves a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Enjoy stunning panoramic views across the conservancy overlooking Mt. Kilimanjaro. Elephant Gorge is an elephant sanctuary with other wildlife including buffalo, African wild dog and cheetah.

Amboseli National Park is home to large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hyena, gazelle and impala. Cheetah and lion are often seen, either hunting on the plains or at rest in the undergrowth. Over 400 bird species including 40 raptors have been recorded in Amboseli.

Elephant Gorge Camp activities include:  day game drives, guided bush walks, bush dining, sundowners, night game drives, Maasai dances, village visits, nature treks, or just relax and stare for hours at the highest mountain in Africa (Mt Kilimanjaro).
