For instance, you will see coffee pickers on the farm plucking the ripe red berries from each coffee tree on the plantation.

Coffee requires consistent rainfall, which is abundant in regions like Kiambu, where Fairview Coffee Farm is located. This ideal climate allows for coffee to be harvested throughout the year. After the ripe coffee cherries are picked, they are sent to the processing plant for washing, drying, and hulling.

Once processed, the coffee is either exported or sold locally. Kenya is known for producing high-quality Arabica coffee and is one of the top coffee exporters globally, with Kenyan coffee highly sought after for its rich, full-bodied flavor and bright acidity.
