Finch Hattons Presidential Suite forms part of Finch Hattons Luxury Tented Camp’s accommodation and sleeps a maximum of 2 guests. The suite is a sprawling 200-square-meter luxury room that overlooks the natural springs. 

Finch Hattons Luxury Tented Camp is situated in a 35-acre concession on the southwestern edge of Tsavo West National Park. It lies at the heart of Tsavo West National Park, part of Kenya’s single-largest game reserve.

Location & Accessibility

Finch Hattons is located in the southwestern corner of Tsavo West, near Chyulu Hills and Mtito Andei Gate. It is situated in a private concession within the park, near freshwater springs that attract a diverse range of wildlife throughout the year.

How to Get There

By Road:

✓ From Mombasa: Approximately 5–6 hours via Voi and Tsavo River Gate
✓ From Nairobi: Approximately 4.5–5.5 hours via Mombasa Highway (Mtito Andei Gate)

By Air:

✓ Flights from Nairobi (Wilson Airport), Diani, or Mombasa take about 1 hour.
✓ The camp has a private airstrip (Finch Hattons Airstrip) just 3 km away, suitable for charter flights and scheduled light aircraft.

By Rail:

✓ The road transfer to the camp takes approximately 45 minutes.
✓ Take the SGR (Standard Gauge Railway) to Mtito Andei Station.

Child Policy 

* A single child sharing with one adult will be charged 50% of the adult rate per night
* For two children sharing with two adults in the family tent, each child will be charged 50% of the adult rate per night
* Children aged 6+ are very welcome and there are two family suites so that the ‘Young Explorers’ (as we call them) can stay with their parents
* Child rates apply for up to two children aged 12 years and under when sharing with two adults in the family tent. If the family tent is unavailable
* Child rates apply for one child aged 12 years and under sharing with one or two adults in a tent. Children aged 13 and over will be accommodated in a separate tent at the applicable adult rate

The Finch Hattons Suite is lavishly fitted with a bedroom, lounge, heated plunge pool, pantry, butler service, and a separate nanny room. This Suite also includes a private chef.

The tents are nestled under thatched roofs and have netted windows. Each tent is furnished with either twin or double beds, accompanied by antique lamps, floor rugs, a writing desk, a minibar, plush seating arrangements, and a spacious deck.

Guests can enjoy local and international meals in the well-furnished dining tent or on the open terrace. There is a wine cellar and two bars that serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A star-gazing deck is also available.

Finch Hattons Camp Tsavo West features a spa and wellness center, complete with an elevated yoga deck that offers guests a serene space to unwind while taking in the stunning views of the majestic Chyulu Hills. The spa and wellness center offers a mind, body, and soul sanctuary. The camp has an outdoor boma with a cozy fireplace.

Guests can enjoy therapeutic and healing massages and luxurious body treatments, ranging from hot stone and herbal oil massages to in-tonga treatments and sheer aroma-therapeutics.

There is an infinity pool to cool down, as well as a sunbathing area and relaxation space on the pool deck. A hammam is also available where guests can relax, feel refreshed, and be cleansed. There is a library and research center.
