Finch Hattons Camp Luxury Tented Suites are part of Finch Hattons Luxury Safari Camp. The camp features a total of 17 lavish 105 m² suites with views of the forest, springs, and wildlife corridors. It is situated in a private concession within the park, near freshwater springs that attract a diverse range of wildlife throughout the year. 

Finch Hattons suite accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. The camp is situated in the southwestern corner of Tsavo West, near the Chyulu Hills and the Mtito Andei Gate. Finch Hatton’s Camp is 65 km from Mtito Andei Gate – via Kilaguni, Kitani to Finch Hatton’s.

The camp is approximately an Hour by Air from Nairobi, accessible by a Charter flight from Wilson Airport to Hatton’s Camp’s private airstrip, which is located approximately 3.5 km from the Lodge.

How to Get There

By Road:
– From Nairobi: Approximately 280 km southeast of  Nairobi (4.5–5.5 hours) via Mombasa Highway (Mtito Andei Gate)
– From Mombasa: Approximately 250 km northwest of Mombasa (5–6 hours) via Voi and Tsavo River Gate

By Air:
– The camp has a private airstrip (Finch Hattons Airstrip) just 3 km away, suitable for charter flights and scheduled light aircraft.
– Flights from Nairobi (Wilson Airport), Diani, or Mombasa take about 1 hour.

By Rail:
– Take the SGR (Standard Gauge Railway) to Mtito Andei Station. The road transfer to the camp takes about 45 minutes.

Finch Hattons Camp Luxury Tented Suites are set on elevated decks to give you a pristine view of the surrounding hippo pools and the camp’s water hole. The tents are nestled under thatched roofs and have netted windows. Each tent is furnished with either twin or double beds, accompanied by antique lamps, floor rugs, a writing desk, a minibar, plush seating arrangements, and a spacious deck.

Guests can enjoy local and international meals in the well-furnished dining tent or on the open terrace. The property features a wine cellar and two bars that serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A star-gazing deck is also available.

Finch Hattons Camp, located in Tsavo West National Park, features a spa and wellness center, complete with an elevated yoga deck that offers guests a serene space to unwind while taking in the stunning views of the majestic Chyulu Hills. The spa and wellness center provides a sanctuary for the mind, body, and soul. The camp has an outdoor boma with a cozy fireplace.
