Forest Chem Chem Camp Tarangire is located between the Tarangire and Lake Manyara national parks, about a 30-minute drive to Tarangire’s main gate. The camp is situated in  Burunge Wildlife Management Area, which lies between Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara.

The camp is situated a 20-minute drive from Little Chem Chem along the Tarangire River, Forest Chem Chem is located in a 16000ha privately managed Wildlife Management Area.

The Chem Chem airstrip is available for private charters and scheduled flights and is easily connected with other safari airstrips and airports. Forest Chem Chem is a small, high-quality, tented camp in the Chem Chem Concession, which is home to some fantastic wildlife.

Forest Chem Chem Camp Tarangire consists of  4  elegant and LUXURY VINTAGE  Tents that include 1 family tent overlooking the stunning wilderness that are harmony built in traditional African style with stones and local woods in a cozy environment with modern comfort. 

The luxury camp is delicately painted in hues of gray, black, and soft yellow, meshing perfectly into the grassy landscape. Bright patterns and colors are found everywhere, from the vivid zebra stripes to the pops of pink and purple wildflowers.

Tents are well decorated, elevated, and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, bathroom with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, hair driers, towels, free toiletries chairs, and tables.

Enjoy a romantic dinner in the brush or experience fusion cuisine in the dining room and then end the day watching the sunset outside on the sundeck overlooking the stunning panoramic views.

Other lodge facilities include; Swimming pool, Gym facilities, spa treatments & Wi-Fi is available in the main areas and in all suites. In-room amenities include fans, mosquito nets, in-room safe, hairdryer, telephone, and Yoga mats.

Activities at the Camp include; Sundowners on the shores of Lake Manyara, Flamingos on Lake Manyara, Walking with the Maasai, ballooning, game drives, and sumptuous dinners romantically served in different locations each evening.
