Gorilla Valley Lodge is a 2-star accommodation set on the southern edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, close to Virunga Volcanoes. The lodge is situated only a 20 minutes drive away from the departure point of the gorilla trek. It is the closest lodge to Rushaga ranger station.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is one meter away from your veranda. It feels like you are invited into to home of the majestic mountain gorillas. But these gentle giants occasionally come out of the forest to spend some time feeding and playing in the gardens. From the veranda of the rooms, you can almost touch this national park and home of the mountain Gorillas.

Gorilla Valley Lodge Bwindi Impenetrable National Park consists of 12 en-suite rooms with spacious private bathrooms and toilets. The rooms are built on a steep slope, ensuring the best views of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. All rooms have a private terrace from where to experience the splendor of the forest.

Tastefully decorated and equipped with solar water heaters and comfortable beds our rooms ensure a peaceful sleep. Every room has been lovingly furnished with twin beds and decorated in a modern retro style.

The main building with a restaurant and bar is located on the highest part of the hill. From here the view is amazing! In the lounge, you can relax by the fire or make yourself comfortable on the veranda.

Activities available from Gorilla Valley Lodge include; gorilla trekking, a Batwa trail, and a cultural village walk. Gorilla Valley Lodge is a slice of wilderness paradise far from the madding crowd; a place of renewal and reconnection with the natural world.
