Hattons Lounge Restaurant & Bar Karen Nairobi is set in what used to be Karen Blixen’s old coffee farm estate, the Hattons Lounge Restaurant & Bar Karen Nairobi is a small, exclusive restaurant in the heart of Karen in beautiful gardens and peaceful suburbs approximately 20 miles from downtown Nairobi, Kenya.
It is located in a beautiful peaceful setting on Karen Road, about half a mile from the Karen Golf and Country Club, it is the site of the original farmhouse which was part of the Blixen property.
Centrally and conveniently located, it is a short walk from the Karen Blixen Museum, Kazuri Bead Factory, and an easy 10-minute drive from the popular Daphne Sheldrick Elephant & Rhino Orphanage as well as the Giraffe Centre.
Just 10 minutes away, it is also well-placed for a game drive in Nairobi National Park where one can spot the big game with the city skyline in the background. The Southern bypass makes Wilson Airport, which is used for all safari flights in Kenya, a quick 20 minutes drive. The bypass combined with the new Express Way on Mombasa Road makes a transfer to/ from Jomo Kenyatta a breeze.
