Havila Resort Sagana River Tana is an incredibly beautiful and serene resort located in Kirinyaga County. Sitting along River Tana, Kenya’s longest river, the resort offers water sports activities such as rafting and Kayaking, Deluxe Accommodation, and Camping, events grounds and conferencing, bike, and quad-bike riding, and archery among other activities. A roaring waterfall, two scenic islands, a canopy of trees, and a flock of birds that have made the resort their true home make Havila the perfect place for relaxation, events, and team building.
Havila Resort Sagana rooms face the Kirengete falls and Gaturi Hills. Each room has it’s own theme – modern, exotic, African, name it. The resort also have camping grounds for the more adventurous.
From Barizi Restaurant nestled atop a hill, one literally feasts his or her eyes on the icon view of Gaturi Hills. Mt. Kenya from afar, the Aberdares and the rolling slopes of the Central Kenya highlands.
The resident Chef and his Team have years of experience and exposure to all manner of cuisine; local and international. Some of the food is picked from the garden in it’s natural state, preserving it’s freshness.
