House of Waine Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel in Karen Lang’ata, Nairobi, on 2.5 acres that blend the elegance of gracious living with the spirit of modern Africa in an exclusive and serene setting.  The hotel is about 30 km away from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport while Wilson Airport is 12 km away.

There are 11 spacious rooms & 1 Cottage. All the rooms are individually styled and their names reflect the different themes. 9 of the rooms can be Single/ Double or Twin rooms.  Each en-suite guestroom has a telephone, minibar, air conditioning, tea/coffee-making facilities, and satellite TV.

The 11 spacious rooms include; Manyatta, Safari, Ziwa, Tembo, Victoria, Kanini, Makan, Pwani, Bustani, Sahara & Malaika Suite. Manyatta room is home to a portrait of a Maasai Moran.

The safari room‘s décor pays tribute to past and present explorers. In the Ziwa room, there is an abundance of turquoise reflecting a shimmering lake.

Tembo room has different hues and textures reflecting the elephant hide and its natural habitat. Victoria the quaint room and the only one with a working fireplace is reminiscent of the Victorian era. The main feature of the room is our wrought iron four-poster bed and the elegant clawfoot tub.

Makan is an Indian-themed room is filled with warm shades of red chili pepper and tomato fabrics. Kanini is the smallest room and is child friendly and interconnects with Makan. 

Pwani room is coastal-themed with its calming sea blues and greens that invite guests to rest, relax and rejuvenate. Bustani is a garden room that invites the outside in, through its fabrics and its direct access to our expansive gardens.

Sahara room shows the golden sands of the Sahara captured in the objects d’arts, artwork, and fabrics. Malaika Suite features black in all the furnishings in this room.

The cottage is perfect for small families or long stays. It sleeps 3 adults in a double and a single en-suite and features a private dining room for up to six, a full kitchen, and its own small private garden. 

The onsite restaurant serves a wide selection of local and international dishes. Guests can enjoy meals in the dining area or in outdoors.

House of Waine Boutique Hotel Karen Nairobi has a conference room with a capacity of 20 guests. The room has modern audio-visual equipment and has an adjoining terrace where refreshments are served with a view of the landscaped gardens.

Guests can the sun poolside or take a refreshing dip in the beautiful swimming pool at the House of Waine. There is a poolside lounge where guests can sip cold beverages and relax and unwind. On cold evenings you can relax in the comfortable lounge with a fireplace and sip a glass of fine wine.

Areas of interest near the hotel include Utamaduni Craft Center, Matbronze gallery, Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Karen Blixen Museum, and Kazuri Beads Factory and Pottery Centre.
