Ikoma Tented Camp is a semi-luxury camp situated at the border of the Serengeti National Park along the path of the migrating wildebeests between Kenya and Tanzania.

The camp is located 22.1km from the center of Serengeti National Park & the nearest airport is 33.6km (Seronera Airstrip).  Ikoma Tented Camp is set in the midst of an incredible scenery of savannah and skies, sheltered in a grove of acacia trees.

Ikoma Tented Camp gives you the unique opportunity to enjoy a night game drive or a walking safari, as the camp is located just outside the national park boundary. A great chance to see and hear some of the nocturnal animals that can’t be spotted in daytime, such as the Leopard, Aardvark, and the Bat-eared fox.

Ikoma has 35 traditional Meru tents, each under thatch with a private veranda overlooking the impressive plains of the Serengeti. Each tent has a bathroom with a shower, flush toilet, wash hand basin, soap, towels, bottled water, Mosquito nets, candles with matches, and an electrical lighting tent.

The Spacious restaurant and bar area boasts a large campfire – an ideal spot to unwind with a chilled drink after a long day of exciting game viewing. The restaurant serving a daily changing 4-course menu, and complimentary coffee and tea in the afternoon.

* Day rooms are available and can be used between the hours of 11 AM to 6 PM
* Christmas Supplement 24, 25, 26, 31 December, and 1 January – 25 US Dollars Per Person
* The latest check-out time is 6 PM. A room can be shared by a maximum of 4 people for showering etc
* Guests should be aware that there may be inadequate hot water for all four persons due to the water heaters being individual to each cottage
