Ishasha Jungle Lodge is a small eco-friendly lodge located 2 km off Katokye Gate of Queen Elizabeth National Park along River Ntungwe. This region reveals its tenant Tree-Climbing Lions and also additionally a wonderful arranged assortment of wild creatures/natural life.

The lodge is easily accessible following the signposts along the Ishasha Road between Katunguru and Ishasha sector/ Kihihi town of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha Jungle Lodge is located a few km away from Kihihi Airstrip, where are landing domestic flights from Entebbe Airport.

Ishasha Jungle Lodge is situated in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, an area that is commonly known for the famous “tree-climbing lions”. It is also the best area of the park for wildlife photography.

The lodge has 4 Cottages, built on raised wooden platforms and finished with canvas and grass-thatched roofs. The interior of the cottages is spacious and divided into the bedroom and bathroom area, separated by a wall and a door.

The entrance has a spacious veranda with a table for sitting outside. The bathroom is serviced with a toilet, shower area, and wash basin. The lodge is entirely made with local materials and African art, with its raised en-suite wooden deck cottages, spacious rooms, and bathroom, all finished with canvas.

The restaurant offers an international standard menu and dining area. The lodge is small and eco-friendly using a solar power system that provides 24-hour power and hot water and gives attention to waste management disposal and recycling.

Activities available from Ishasha Jungle Lodge include; Game Drive, village walk, Nature Walks, and Bird Watching. The Lodge can be booked exclusively all year round.

The game drive will give you the chance to enjoy the savannah and sights include lions, leopards, elephants, hyenas, buffalos, giant forest hogs, and different species of antelopes like topi, waterbuck, and Ugandan kob, and many more.
