Jabali House Watamu

Jabali House Watamu is a stunning 4 bedroom house set in manicured tropical gardens with a pool, and beach access and is centrally located on the Watamu strip, next door to Turtle Bay Resort. The house enjoys fantastic views out over the Indian Ocean on Watamu South Beach. Jabali House is 110 km from Mombasa Airport / 25 km from Malindi Airport.

An incredible modern-style house with a swimming pool, tranquil gardens, and ocean views, Jabali has everything you need for your next Watamu experience. Jabali comes with a king-sized bedroom on the ground floor with its private terrace overlooking the swimming pool. On the first floor, there is another en suite bedroom with a king-sized bed, with air conditioning outside star bath, and magnificent views. It is interconnected with 2 double rooms with 2 twin beds ideal for children.

Jabali has multiple areas to chill around the house including an inside living room, and an airconditioned TV room with a flat-screen TV and DVD player (extra charges apply for satellite TV access). The top deck area has amazing views and a pergola next to the pool with built-in seating for you to enjoy. There is also a fantastic pizza oven with a bar that can seat 8 people and access to Wi-Fi (although you need to buy your bundles).

In bustling Watamu the question is more what can’t you do from your doorstep? The KWS marine park that stretches the length of Watamu Beach offers snorkeling, kite surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding, or you can visit the amazing team at Local Ocean Conservation Trust to find out how they are protecting turtles or check out the whale shark migration.

On land, it’s a short hop to the amazing Gede ruins, or learn more about smaller spectacular members of Kenya’s wildlife at Mida Creek, Butterfly Farm, or BioKen Snake Centre, both hubs of conservation excellence. A short drive away, Arabuko Sokoke Forest is home to amazing birdlife and some secretive elephants.

Keep yourself fortified with endless meal options at Pili Pan, Medina Palms, Ocean Sports, or the Crab Shack. If you fancy yourself as a serious fisherman, or you want to learn, Ocean Sports has some of the best deep-sea fishing boats on the coast. Malindi is half an hour away from Watamu, with stunning shopping and restaurants in the town, as well as the Driftwood Club. Whatever your coastal dream, we have a house for you.
