Jambo Impala Eco Lodge is also known as Lake Victoria Impala Eco-lodge is situated nestled on the shores of Lake Victoria, within the lush grounds of the Kisumu Impala Sanctuary. The sanctuary is 3 kilometers from Kisumu city centre.
Guests are offered every comfort in beautiful surroundings with interiors designed to masterfully blend elegance and natural charm, offering luxurious thatched accommodation. There are 12 cottages with a 24-bed capacity overlooking Lake Victoria. Each en-suite cottage is exquisitely furnished and features a satellite TV, 4 poster bed, and mosquito net.
The private balconies overlook Lake Victoria. The onsite restaurant serves a variety of local and Continental dishes. Guests enjoy their meals by the pool and on the dining terrace as well as enjoy the amazing views of the lake.
The bar is well stocked and offers a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks as well as cocktails. Guests may enjoy their drinks in the lounge area or the terrace. Jambo Impala Eco Lodge Kisumu Impala Sanctuary Kisumu has an outdoor pool and gazebo where guests can relax and unwind.
There are also banquet facilities which are ideal for weddings, meetings, and conferences. Guests are allowed to access the Sanctuary which is home to free-ranging and captive animals as well as a home to over 115 species of birds, a variety of trees, grass, and herbs amongst others.
Activities at the lodge include bird watching, botanical walks, hippo viewing, sport fishing, cultural visits, sunrise and sunset cruise, boat excursions, and Lake Victoria island trips.
