Kampala 1 Day Tour - Uganda Wildlife Education Center Trip

The Uganda Wildlife Education Center Trip is a day tour to the Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC) in Entebbe, where excitement and adventure are guaranteed! Uganda Wildlife Education Centre is located off the main Kampala-Entebbe International Airport road, approximately 40 kilometers from Kampala, 5 kilometers from the airport, and 1.5 kilometers from Entebbe town.

More than 50 animal species are represented. There are over 200 animals, all housed in large, open-air enclosures that simulate their natural habitats, with interpretive panels for each animal’s biography and biological and social information.

The center is a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 250 bird species, and an excellent opportunity for photographers to capture close-up wildlife in an environment that closely resembles the wild. The center has four main sectors: the Savannah ecosystem, the Wetland ecosystem, the Forest ecosystem, and the Herbarium ecosystem, which comprises over 250 plant species.

The Uganda Wildlife Education Center is not a zoo or a Safari Park; it is a center where wildlife education meets leisure. It’s a fun and exciting place to see and learn about Uganda’s animals and the ecosystems in which they live.

Take some time to learn how they live, eat, play, and talk.
