Kerio View Hotel

Kerio View Hotel is a 3-star business-friendly lodge in Iten and is located in a very scenic location on the edge of the Kerio Escarpment (a branch of the Great Rift Valley of East Africa in Kenya). The hotel is located 38 km from Eldoret Uasin Gishu and 5 km (6 minutes drive) from Rimoni Game Reserve. The lodge is situated along Kipkenyo Kerio View Road at an elevation of 2,300 meters above sea level. The hotel offers rooms and cottages that have private balconies or patios.

Kerio View Hotel is a 3-star hotel located at the edge of Kerio Escarpment, with a marvelous view of the Kerio Valley 1000 meters below. The hotel is about 31 kilometers from Eldoret Town and about 40 km from Eldoret International Airport.

Kerio View provides a number of different styles of rooms. There are 22 self-contained cottages. All beds are fitted with mosquito nets – though they are generally not considered essential at the attitude of Kerio View. All rooms have WI-FI service and facilities for making tea/coffee. 

The bathrooms are en-suite with showers and flush toilets. The hotel has an on-site restaurant that serves a variety of local and international dishes on table d’hôte and à la carte menus. Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining area or in outdoors. The well-stocked bar offers a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Athletes Building:  There is a large building that also includes the gymnasium and physio/ massage room. The accommodation is particularly suitable for visitors engaging in athletics or sports activities; especially teams and groups.

There are grass-thatched shelters called “El Niño” and “Monkey House” which are very popular for barbeque venues where guests enjoy mouth-watering roasted meat.
