Kibo Safari Camp Private Wing Amboseli

Kibo Safari Camp Private wing is a luxury tented camp ideal for self-catering groups along with options of full board dining set at the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park in Kenya. The camp is located only a 5-minute drive from the Park entry gate and 15 km from Amboseli Airstrip.

Kibo Private Wing is a part of Kibo Safari Camp which lies within the Amboseli National Reserve with splendid views of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, approximately 260 km from Nairobi, and driving time takes about 4 hours while flying time is approximately 30 Minutes.

Accommodation at Kibo Private Luxury Tents is offered either full board basis or on a self-catering (there are 4 fully equipped kitchens with chiller & freezer. There is a Koroga Banda, an Italian brick wood-fired pizza oven (Come with your own pizza bases and toppings), and a Nyama Choma grill for families and groups (bring your own Nyama).

Kibo Private Luxury Tents Accommodation includes full-size beds (single & double complete with bedding and mosquito netting). All tents have a flush toilet and hot water shower, 240v power sockets in each tent, 4 self-catering kitchens with propane gas, and baby cots (additional beds are available if required).

For self-catering needs, the tents have a cooker, crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils. There is high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, Bonfire, and 24-hour Electricity. Guests who wish to swim can access the main camp swimming pool at Kibo Safari Camp which is flanked by sunbeds where guests can relax.

Amboseli National Park is home to large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hyenas, gazelle, and impala. Cheetahs and lions are often seen, either hunting on the plains or at rest in the undergrowth. Over 400 bird species including 40 raptors have been recorded in Amboseli.
