Kibo Slopes Garden Resort, formerly Kibo Slopes Cottages, is an eco-friendly lodge located in the Loitokitok region, near the Kenyan/ Tanzanian border on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, about 3 km from Loitokitok Hospital, 10 km from Kilimanjaro National Park, and 40 km from Amboseli National Park.

The property is situated approximately 255 km from Nairobi, on the outskirts of the Loitokitok township, offering stunning views of both Mount Kilimanjaro and the vast plains below.

The resort is ideally situated in the direct vicinity of the Amboseli, Chyulu Hills, and the Tsavo National Parks, surrounded by vast gardens and coffee plantations. Kibo Slopes Garden Resort is an ideal destination for visitors, whether on holiday, business, or honeymoon.

The resort has 17 guestrooms comprising five deluxe rooms and 12 standard rooms. Each guestroom features a bedside locker, wardrobe, mosquito net, and work desk. The bathrooms are en-suite.

The onsite restaurant offers a menu featuring local and international dishes, as well as buffet options, which can be enjoyed in the dining area or on the terrace. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks from the well-stocked bar.

There are conference facilities fitted with standard presentation equipment. The room can hold up to 30 guests. The well-manicured gardens provide an ideal venue for weddings, team-building events, and even birthday parties.

There is a large central parking area for the guests’ vehicles. The compound is under 24/7 security surveillance as well as free Wi-fi throughout the property. Kibo Slopes Garden Resort maintains a serene environment through various eco-friendly facilities, including our solar system, Kuni booster, and rainwater harvesting.
