Kicheche Laikipia Camp Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Kicheche Laikipia Camp consist of 6 luxurious tents nestled at the foot of an indigenous forest overlooking a large waterhole. An exclusive safari experience – hosting 12 guests in a secluded location.  Each tent is elegantly furnished and has insect-proof netting, Persian rugs, a clothes rack, and a seating area.

The bathrooms are en-suite with a flush toilet, shower, and twin washbasins set on a large wooden vanity cabinet. There is also a verandah with comfy chairs and stylish African-fabric cushions that looks out towards the waterhole.

The main mess tent is spacious and has a dining area, with a large wooden table cedarwood. Meals served are local and international cuisine. A brick fireplace also makes for a delightfully cozy ambiance during dinner on chilly evenings.

The adjoining lounge area is furnished with 2 earthy-colored sofas, leather poufs, a bookshelf, and rugs, enhanced by pot plants and vases of locally grown roses. In the cool evening, sit around a bonfire, sharing stories of your game drives and walks, and enjoy a sumptuous meal in the cozy dining area.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is home to Kenya’s largest population of Black Rhino, considerable numbers of Elephants, cheetah Lions, Leopards, and plentiful plains game. There are also a number of rare northern species like Grevy Zebra, Jacksons Hartebeest, and Beisa Oryx.

Kicheche Laikipia Camp Ol Pejeta Conservancy activities include day and night game drives, game walks, visits to local community projects, lion tracking programs, horse riding, rhino tracking, canoeing, visiting wildlife educational center, visiting the Morani Center and Sweetwaters chimpanzee sanctuary.
