Kilima Safari Camp Amboseli

Kilima Safari Camp Amboseli is a 4-star luxurious lodge located in the area of Amboseli National Park, next to the Kimana Gate Park entrance. The camp is set out on a 420-acre site with a spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilima Safari Camp lies 250 km South of Nairobi (four hour drive) and is a 20-minute drive from the Amboseli Airstrip.

The Kimana area of Amboseli is famous for its large elephant population and guests can enjoy great game viewing from their tents which face the Animal water pools all public areas and guest rooms are set towards Mount Kilimanjaro.

Kilima Safari Camp Amboseli has 72 elegantly furnished guestrooms/ tents comprising 50 classic tents, 10 superior tents, and 12 lodge rooms. The classic tents and lodge rooms are fitted with double and single beds and large private balconies.

The superior tents have 4 poster double beds with enlarged bathrooms with lion-claw bathtubs. Bathrooms in the guestrooms/ tents have double basins with a distinct shower area and dressing counters.

There is an onsite restaurant that has a huge dining area that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Guests can enjoy local and international cuisine either in the dining area or outdoors.

The 2 well-stocked bars serve a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks. Beyond the elegant bar and dining area, is a campfire area where guests can enjoy a fireside chat. There is a nature room with wildlife information and a place for guest lectures.

Guests in Kilima Safari Camp Amboseli can enjoy a refreshing swim and relax on the poolside lounger. There is also a massage center where guests can unwind with a selection of massage services and other body treatments.

There are conference halls with state-of-the-art equipment that provide ideal venues for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and other corporate functions.

Amboseli National Park is home to large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hyenas, gazelle, and impala. Cheetahs and lions are often seen, either hunting on the plains or at rest in the undergrowth. Over 400 bird species including 40 raptors have been recorded in Amboseli.
