Kudu Lodge & Campsite Karatu Tanzania

Kudu Lodge and Campsite is a comfortable accommodation located 2km away from Ngorongoro tarmac road on the edge of Karatu town. Karatu town is a 2-hour drive from Arusha. The nearest airport is Arusha Airport which is 107.4km away.

The lodge is built on eleven acres of rolling countryside, amidst mature trees and gardens, home to myriad birds and a tranquil perfect base for wildlife safaris to major tourist attractions in Tanzania. ie Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Eyasi, Lake Natron, and  Ol donyo  Lengai  Mountain.

Kudu Lodge offers a wide range of accommodation options (20-Ruaha Rondavels, 2-Tembo Retreats & 10-Serengeti Suites). The 20-Ruaha Rondavels have a separate bedroom, lounge with a fireplace, and large en-suite bathroom. The 2-Tembo Retreats are 2-3 bedrooms houses, larger bathrooms, larger lounge with fireplace, in their own gardens.

The 10-Serengeti Suites are spacious bungalows exquisitely furnished with extra-wide beds and upholstered armchairs with footstools, fireplace, office corner, and en-suite bathroom

All the bungalows are well-appointed and free-standing, set among verdant tropical gardens. All bungalows have an en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity, and toilet, desk/writing area, Free WIFI, in-house telephones, Electricity 24 hours, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Safe Boxes, and a private veranda.

All beds are outfitted with mosquito nets. Suites feature king-size beds and a lounge with a fireplace. Other lodge facilities include; a bar, a Large Swimming Pool, a gift shop, and a spa.

The lodge has a modern Conference Centre that can be utilized for a variety of functions such as conferences, business meetings, workshops, training, team building, product launches, wedding parties, and other special occasions.

Activities available from Kudu Lodge and Campsite include; Massages, swimming, walking, Village Visits, Bird watching, Bicycle riding, Day excursions to the National parks around the area, eg Tarangire, Lake Manyara, or Ngorongoro, Day Excursions to the bus-laden (Hadzabe) at Lake Eyasi.

Accommodation on Half Board or Full Board Basis

Full board basis (FB) — 3 meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Half board basis (HB) – 2 meals a day either (Breakfast & Lunch or Dinner)

* Children aged 12 years and above will be charged the full adult rate
* Children aged 5-11 years sharing with 1 or 2 Adults will be charged 50%
* Children aged 5-11 years in their own room will be charged 75% of the adult rate
