Kyambura Gorge Lodge Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kyambura Gorge Lodge Queen Elizabeth National Park is a luxury safari accommodation located on the eastern edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kyambura Gorge, Southwestern Uganda. The lodge has sweeping views of the rolling savanna, the distant Mountains of the Moon, and the sunken Kyambura Gorge. Entebbe International Airport is 261.5 km away.

Kyambura Gorge Lodge is usually accessed via flight or road transfer from Entebbe International Airport. From Entebbe, by air, it’s a 1-hour flight followed by a 2-hour drive to the lodge.

The lodge is the ideal location for tracking the lost chimps in the sunken forest of Kyambura Gorge nearby and seeing the amazing game in one of Africa’s most beautiful parks, centered around the waterway of the Kazinga Channel. The park has six hundred amazing bird species, the highest in an African park.

Kyambura Gorge Lodge Queen Elizabeth National Park has 8 unique luxury bandas (4 deluxe and 4 standards), each fitted with a mosquito net, wardrobe, balcony, and a deck. All bandas have indoor and outdoor showers. Guest bandas have an afro-chic theme with an accent on local artifacts re-imagined in a new context. Each banda offers a unique view either across the savanna or the gorge.

There is a spa, swimming pool, bar, restaurant, living area & Wi-Fi available in the main lodge building. Outdoor swimming pool overlooking the Rwenzori Mountains, QE Park, and the Kyambura Gorge.

Meals are prepared using the freshest local ingredients and served in the dining area.  Other lodge amenities include; Complimentary laundry service, Power sockets/charging facilities, and hair dryers in the rooms.
