Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge is located on a range of hills within the Lake Nakuru National Park, home of the pink flamingo and the Big 5. The lodge offers spectacular views over the vastness of Africa.

The lodge also overlooks Lake Nakuru and its surrounding National Park, one that is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife lovers alike. Lake Nakuru National Park is mainly a wooded and bushy grassland with a wide ecological diversity and characteristic habitats that range from the lake waters to the escarpment and ridges.

The lodge is approximately 164 km from Nairobi. A 2.5-hour drive from Nairobi, a 30-minute flight from Wilson Airport to Naishi airstrip, and a 15-minute transfer from the airstrip to the Lodge.

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge has 60 rooms, including 2 interconnecting rooms & 2 wheelchair-accessible rooms. The guestrooms are spacious and tastefully fitted with minibars, telephones, and a private veranda with comfortable deck chairs.

The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a tiled shower area, double basins, and a bidet. The multi-rooftops of the main buildings include open-air verandahs, the ‘Lekwane’ restaurant, and the ‘Ol Donyio’ bar and lounge.

The restaurant serves African and International cuisine prepared with ingredients sourced from local farms. Guests can enjoy their meals in the cozy dining area which has a fireplace or on the terrace.

The on-site bars offer a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.  Guests enjoy their drinks as well as the panoramic views of the park. The lodge houses an outdoor pool which is flanked by recliner seats and a pool table where guests enjoy snooker games.

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge is set in a serene environment and provides an ideal venue for weddings, banquets, and corporate gatherings. Designated outdoor areas for team-building exercises.

The lodge adequately provides your meeting or incentive group delegates with everything they might require including PA systems; overhead projectors; LCDs; TV/Videos; flip charts; WiFi internet; writing materials and pens.

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge activities include;  bush meals, nature walks, bird watching, sundowners, and game drives.
