Nakuru Lakira Camp

Lakira Camp Lake Nakuru National Park is nestled on the edge of lake Nakuru within the Lake Nakuru National Park and nestled deep within the ‘cradle of mankind’.

The camp is 160 kilometers north of Nairobi. The camp combines personal charm with the ultimate in luxurious accommodation – where lush vegetation and views of the sparkling water.

There are 6 guest tents furnished with comfortable four poster beds, mosquito nets, rich Persian carpets and antique and colonial furniture.

The bathrooms are en-suite with flush toilets and hot and cold running water. There is a private verandah where guests can recline, relax and enjoy the sun set over the lake and abundant wildlife.

Guests can walk outside their tents in the their own seemingly private wilderness in classic bush style, where spreading canvas, soft cushions, exotic cocktails, the twinkle of lanterns.

Here they enjoy the soft melody of the bush and sounds of Africa. The dining area seats 14 guests and guests care served with variety of freshly prepared meal.

Guests can also enjoy their meals on the veranda by their tent overlooking the beautiful view of the lake.

Guests can relax with a drink or cocktail at the well stocked bar or in the comfortable lounge  which is decorated in rich chic tone and colonial antiques.

The guests enjoy watching the sun go down at the fire place located out by the lounge tent,  filled with logs that burn all night to allow you to gaze at the clear starry African night skies.

Activities in Lakira Camp Lake Nakuru National Park include game drives, guided nature walks, sundowners, bush dinners, bird watching and bush breakfast.
