Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge Tarangire Tanzania is a luxury lodge set on top of an escarpment with sweeping views across the perennial Tarangire River and valley below and will match the same outstanding standards of comfort and service as the other properties in Lemala’s collection.

Lemala Mpingo Ridge is around a 45-minute drive from Kuro Airstrip or approximately a 3-4 hour drive from Arusha. Mpingo Ridge will enjoy a real sense of wilderness and excellent game viewing, and it’s both a relaxing standalone destination and a great place to start a safari.

Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge Tarangire Tanzania has 15 tented suites featuring en-suite bathrooms, private decks, and sunken outside lounges that convert to afternoon siesta beds. One of the suites has two bedrooms, specially designed for friends and family traveling together.

Each of the 15 spacious tented suites has been carefully positioned to maximize not only the sensational views over the Tarangire valley but also to take advantage of cooling breezes during warm weather.

A special feature is the private outside bathtub, perfect for soothing the soul and washing away the African dust after a day on safari. The elevated main lodge has a large lounge and bar, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a spa, and a swimming pool.

Mpingo Ridge makes a very elevating, highly relaxing sort of place. The frisson of your private outdoor shower and tub with a view, a swim in the pool overlooking the savannah, and a delectable al fresco dinner.
