Leopard Hill Camp Masai Mara

Leopard Hill is a modern tented eco-camp in the midst of the African wilderness located in Mara Naboisho Conservancy. The camp is set in a secluded valley providing views to historically and culturally significant Masai Mara Fig Trees and three wildlife-abundant watering holes.

Naboisho Conservancy consists of 50,000 acres of pristine wildlife territory and spectacular scenery that allows you to enjoy complete privacy and ultimate views of the unspoiled wilderness.

The camp is 250 km from Nairobi, 5 hour drive by road.  Scheduled flights land at Keekorok Airstrip which is 27 km from the camp. Flying time from Nairobi Wilson Airport takes approximately 45 minutes.

Leopard Hill camp has 6 guest tents (4 Tents, 1 Honeymoon Tent & 1 Family Tent (Maximum 5 guests) are well-spaced out for privacy, each one overlooking one of three waterholes where animals frequently come to drink.

The tents are raised on wooden decks with a veranda at the front. Each deck area has a small firepit and your room attendant will light a fire in the evening to accompany your sundowner drinks.

In addition to the four standard tents, Basecamp Leopard Hill has a family tent comprising two separate tents set together on the same wooden deck. There is also a honeymoon tent which is the furthest tent away from the central area. This tent comes with its own private lounge furnished in a similar style to the rest of the camp.

The tents offer an almost 360-degree view of the surroundings, from the bed towards the fig tree and the water holes and from the bathroom to the back. With indoor and outdoor showers, each tent has its own theme and houses a private outdoor fireplace and a lower deck that takes guests close to wildlife.

The lounge tent is simply furnished but comfortable, the focal point is a large stone and brick fireplace which creates a cozy atmosphere on cooler evenings. Here you can find a couple of large sofas and a low table scattered with photo books. There is a selection of board games, a pith helmet or two dotted around, and armchairs overlooking the open plains.

There is a neighboring dining tent is set up with individual tables and a hot drink station where you can help yourself to tea or an espresso.

Leopard Hill Masai Mara activities include; Guided Walking Safaris by our Maasai guides, day & night game drives, sundowners and bush meals on the savannah, visiting Community Projects, Maasai culture talks & storytelling around the campfire, self-instructed yoga & massage.
