Lewaso Eco Cottages are comfortable banda accommodations located in Naibunga Community Conservancy in the Mukogodo Division of Laikipia. The Cottages are situated in Tura, 10 km from The Ol Lentille Conservancy.

Driving time from Nairobi takes approximately 6 hours. The nearest airport is Nanyuki Airport, 66 km from Lewaso Cottages.

The 6 bands are available in either double or twin size and come equipped with an en-suite bathroom. The open-air bathrooms are cleverly designed to allow you to enjoy the surrounding environment while ensuring complete privacy.

All rooms have wide double doors and windows that lead out to the front verandas, allowing you to enjoy the spectacular views from the comfort of your bed. Hot water, tea, and coffee are delivered each morning to start the day, and patrolling Masai warriors keep watch over the lodge at night for your safety.

The dining room and bar are located in the main house of the lodge. The Lewaso experience includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are generally served in the dining room, however, bush dinners can be arranged. Lewaso’s culinary-trained chef will prepare an extraordinary dining experience using locally sourced foods.

For enjoying a drink at Lewaso (sundowners), guests can sit around our big campfire in front of the lodge and watch the sunset. Or, if preferred, guests may stand on the large balcony of the main building to enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.

The lodge features an outdoor pool, free self-parking, an open conference room, and a free wireless internet connection. What sets our cottages apart is that the lodge is completely run by the local Masai and you get a chance to enjoy the authentic Masai culture and service.

The bush surrounding Lewaso plays host to a magnificent array of local African wildlife. Regular sightings around Lewaso and on-game drives include but are not limited to Elephant, Hippos, Impala, Lions, Zebra (Grevy’s and Burchell’s), Dik Dik, Hyena & Warthog.

Lewaso Eco Cottages activities include Game drives, Bushwalks, Camel safaris, Kayaking, ATV safaris, Rungu throwing, Fishing, Masai village visit & Cross country running route. Activities at Lewaso can be tailored to all visitors’ interests, whether they prefer high activity or relaxation.
