Lions Bluff Lodge is an eco-lodge, secluded and exclusive, within Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary. The lodge has stunning panoramic views, across miles and miles of Kenyan parkland including the majestic Kilimanjaro, The Taita Hills, the Lumo Community Sanctuary, and the Tsavo eco-system

The lodge is 232 kilometers from Nairobi, 50 kilometers from Tsavo East, and 48 kilometers East of Voi on the Taita-Taveta Road. Lions Bluff Lodge stands high on a rocky bluff looking towards the North Pare Mountains, Kilimanjaro, the West Usambara Mountains, and the Taita Hills.

With only 12 rooms the Bluff offers an intimate, luxury safari and cultural experience, with breathtaking scenery and wildlife viewing. We welcome you to Lions Bluff Lodge an ideal place for family safaris, anyone in search of peacefulness, nature lovers, private parties, passionate photographers, and honeymooners alike.

There are other facilities within the lodge; The includes; Cheetah Campsite, Cheetah permanent tented camps & the Leopards Lair “self-catering bandas”. 

Cheetah Campsite – Camping in the bush must be the ultimate getaway experience. Lions Bluff owns the site and welcomes you to make use of the activities which are on offer from Lions Bluff in Lumo Wildlife Community Sanctuary.

Cheetah Tented Camps – 4 – permanent tents perfectly situated on the lower side of the Bluff. Each of the four canvas tents has comfortable twin beds, as well as an en-suite bathroom, with a bucket shower and your private verandah. Guests can be booked on either full board, game package, or exclusive use of the entire camp. For those on a game package, the staff is on hand to assist with planning, for the activities on offer.

The Leopards Lair “self-catering bandas” – Located on the same hill as Lions Bluff, offering an exciting wilderness escape and an untamed safari experience.

The main lounge-cum-dining room has a wide wooden deck overlooking a lesser watering hole where guests can spend time watching terrestrial wildlife coming to drink water. Guests can also spend the evenings watching spectacular sunsets while sipping cool drinks from the well-stocked bar.

Activities in the Lions Bluff Lodge Tsavo West include bush breakfasts, day game drives, nature trails, bird walks, village visits, night game drives, bush walks, and sundowners. Guests can also go for Eye Go Game Spotting (EGGS) which helps to raise awareness and funds for local community projects.

* Christmas supplement – 45 US Dollars per person per night for adults & 35 US Dollars per child per night  – applicable on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of December
* Transfer – Pick up from Finch Hattons / Kilaguni Airstrip (Tsavo West) – 3 hours drive to Lumo. Road transfer  350 US Dollars per vehicle, each way. KWS Tsavo West Park fees are to be paid by guests
