Loisaba Star Beds Loisaba Conservancy Laikipia is located on a rocky kopje, commanding sweeping views over an undulating valley and a permanent waterhole, frequented by resident wildlife.

It is located within Loisaba Ranch – a 61,000 acre, Privately owned Ranch in the Laikipia region of Northern Kenya.

The lodge is about 70 kilometers from the Nanyuki on the slopes of Mount Kenya. There are 3 en-suite double rooms and a family room with 2 double beds all with raised wooden platforms.

Each room is tastefully fitted with in room safe, seating area and mosquito net. The bathrooms have showers, vanity basin and flush toilets.

Each star bed room is individually built in harmony with the natural rocky features, incorporating a sitting area and open plan bathroom. The lodge offers guests a room under the stars.

Handcrafted four-poster ‘Mkokoteni’ wooden beds roll out from the thatched roof room onto a raised wooden platform to provide guests a night underneath the African stars whilst wildlife gather at the nearby waterhole.

Guests may enjoy their meals in the dining room or alfresco. Meals served are local and international dishes prepared from locally sourced ingredients.

Guests enjoy drinks by the log fire in the Star Beds lounge, while sharing tall tales of the African bush.
