Lolldaiga House Laikipia is situated in the Lolldaiga Hills, 30 km to the northwest of Mount Kenya in Lolldaiga Hills Ranch. Lolldaiga Hills Ranch is within the 49,000-acre ranch, vegetation ranges from dry savannah to open woodlands and high-altitude forests.

Lolldaiga Hills Ranch is a stunning fifty-thousand-acre cattle ranch and wildlife conservancy. The house was built as a manager’s house in the 1960s and is now open to guests. 

The house is an exclusive property private family home in the magnificent setting of Lolldaiga Ranch. A sprawling old settler-style house, it is furnished with great elegance and every comfort is provided. Perched on a ridge amongst the Lolldaiga Hills, it has exceptional views of the Northern Frontier District stretching away below and to the south are Mt Kenya’s snowy peaks.

Nanyuki is the nearest town, a 30-minute drive from the main Lolldaiga Hills Ranch gate and an hour to Lolldaiga Hills Farm House. Lolldaiga Hills Ranch is approximately 220 km north of Nairobi.

Lolldaiga House Laikipia has six en-suite bedrooms, each well-appointed and cheerful in effortless farmhouse chic. The rooms open up through wide French windows to tremendous views of the African bush; you can sit on your private verandah sipping your early morning tea quite away from the world.

The verandah of the house offers breathtaking views of Mount Kenya. Lolldaiga Hills Farm House is self-catered. It is perfect for family holidays, weddings, and birthday parties.

Lolldaiga provides a home for a huge number of wildlife and bird species. Frequently spotted animals include elephants, buffalo, lions, hyenas, jackals, zebra (including the endangered Grevy’s), many different plains game, vervet monkeys, and baboons. Leopards, cheetahs, and wild dogs are harder to find, but definitely around.

Lolldaiga Farm House Laikipia activities include game drives, organizing guided walks, bird-watching, cave visits, picnics, sundowners, participation in livestock husbandry, camel riding, mountain biking, and Ox-cart trips, etc.
