Mama Safi Guest Houses Masai Mara is a budget safari accommodation situated on 88 acres of secluded rolling hills in the migratory corridor of the Sekanani valley in Keekorok. The camp is situated 3 km from the entrance to the Sekanani Masai Mara National Reserve and about 12 km away from Siana Springs.
The camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 280 km. It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes approximately 45 minutes.
There are 3 self-catering houses namely Jua House, Bahati House, and Watoto House. Each house is fully equipped with all the necessities: a kitchen, refrigerator, and stove, should you wish to self-cater. If you would rather just relax and take a break, we can arrange a “Full Board” for you.
Jua house – The first house is a 1-bedroom, open loft-style house, which can comfortably accommodate 3 adults. From the loft/bedroom, you can enjoy a 180-degree view of the sunrise. From the terrace, with your morning coffee/ tea, you can relax and listen to the sounds of the Mara coming to life each day.
Bahati House – The second house has 2 bedrooms, each with a private shower/toilet area and a fully equipped, shared kitchen. The bedrooms are elevated one level and can accommodate 4 adults in each room. The roof-covered terrace level remains completely open on three sides, with unparalleled views of the sunset, allowing you to truly experience all that the Mara has to offer from the comfort of your holiday home.
Watoto House – The third house has 2 spacious rooms with King-size beds and unsuited facilities. We have leaked the simple design for these rooms- appealing to a more “glamping” style of accommodation.
Mama Safi Guest Houses Masai Mara activities Include; game drives, hot air balloon rides, visits to a Masai village, walking safaris, and sundowner trips.
