Manjaro Tented Camp Amboseli

Manjaro Tented Camp is a tented safari accommodation situated just outside the Amboseli National Reserve with splendid views of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The camp is located next to the Amboseli National Park entrance (Kimana Gate), opposite the Sentrim Camp.

Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of the immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species.

Manjaro Tented Camp has located 240 km from Nairobi, approximately 4 hours’ drive by road and 50 minutes by air. The camp is 15 km from the Amboseli airstrip.

Accommodation at the camp consists of Single, Double, Twin & Triple rooms. From the rooms, you can see a great view of Mount Kilimanjaro and you can also go for a nature walk in the camp’s 60-acre conservancy.

The camp is built naturally into the wild nature. If you are lucky and Kilimanjaro is clear early in the morning you will have a stunning view just outside of your tent. The tents were also very nice and clean with electricity and hot water 24/7, that’s not the case in all camps.

Activities available from Manjaro Tented Camp include; game drives, village visits, bird walks, bush meals, sundowners, guided nature walks, hot air balloon safari, and in-house cultural activities.
