Manyatta Camp Tsavo East

Manyatta Camp Tsavo East is a tented safari accommodation located in the savannah grasslands of Tsavo East National Park, Kenya, just 8 Km off the main highway connecting the capital Nairobi to the coastal town of Mombasa.

Manyatta Camp borders Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops such as the Kasigau, Sagalla, and Mwakingali Hills. The camp is a kilometer from the Tsavo East airstrip while Nairobi is 329 km from the camp.

Manyatta Camp Tsavo East has 24 tents; 13 tents offer a river view and 11 tents face the National Park. Each tent has been constructed with its own private plunge pool with a seating area and sun loungers and is erected above the ground.

Each tent is tastefully fitted with 4 poster beds, a seating area, a refrigerator, a fan, a kitchenette, and a furnished verandah. The bathrooms are en-suite and fitted with a shower and toilet located separately within the tent.

The Twiga Restaurant is elevated on the 2nd floor and has great views of the surrounding Tsavo East National park. Guests can enjoy local and international cuisines, while the bar serves soft and alcoholic drinks.

The lounge area has a pool table and is an ideal place to watch the sun go down in the evening. There is an outdoor pool that features a water polo where guests can swim and have fun. The camp has a children’s playground area in the garden area.

Guests can also use the adjacent property Voi wildlife Lodge facilities like the gym, spa, sauna & steam baths. Manyatta camp also has access to Voi Wildlife Lodge’s conferencing facilities, an ideal place to hold private seminars and retreats. 

Manyatta Camp Tsavo East National Park activities include; photography, day and night game drives, sundowners, bush meals, bird watching, fishing, guided walking safaris, and picnics.
