Mara House has a spacious living room with plush sofas for relaxing, a dining area, a fireplace, and 3 spacious en-suite double rooms, beautifully furnished in a traditional East African style with a refreshing contemporary edge.

The house has a veranda that offers magnificent views of the hills and valleys, as well as the famous Ol Chorro waterhole. The rough tree trunks form the framework of the house and serve as railings, creating a delightful pastoral appeal, while the light curtains and blinds cover the wooden-framed windows, evoking a feeling of a country home.

Mara Bush House has a wide range of dining venues, and each has a special charm to it. Guests can have breakfast and lunch on the patio or al-fresco on the lawns. Dinners can be in the indoor dining area or outdoors under sparkling stars, lit with traditional lanterns. In the evening, guests can have a barbecue dinner on the open veranda or by the pool.

There is an outdoor swimming pool where guests can have a swim as they relax, and there is also a schoolroom close by filled with toys where children can spend time while the adults relax in between game drives.

Mara House activities include: guided walks, night game drives, sundowners, day game drives, village visits, and participating in local community projects. Children can participate in activities such as spoor and dung identification, animal tracking, beetles, bugs, and birds.
