Mara Nyika Camp Naboisho Conservancy

Mara Nyika Camp, meaning “Large Plains or Great Plains,” is an intimate tented camp set under the treetop canopy on the western side of the Naboisho Conservancy bordering the Maasai Mara. Mara Nyika Camp is located on the 50,000-acre Naboisho Conservancy.

Guests staying at Mara Nyika Camp explore the private and exclusive 50,000-acre Naboisho Conservancy, the second-largest conservancy in the greater Maasai Mara region. “Naboisho” means “coming together” in the Maasai’s Maa language and represents the 500 local landowners who established the conservancy.

Mara Nyika Camp and its light-colored canvas suites are designed to sit under the canopy of umbrella-thorn trees. All the suites offer guests unforgettable views out over the plains. Mara Nyika Camp offers guests three luxury guest suites in addition to 2 x 2 bedroom family suites.

Many guests opt to spend a few days at Mara Nyika Camp combined with a stay at the Mara Expedition Camp, Mara Toto Tree Camp, Mara Plains Camp, or the Mara Plains Jahazi Suite.

This perfect safari in Kenya combination allows one to experience all three wildlife areas: the private Olare Motorogi and Naboisho Conservancies and the Maasai Mara Reserve. Each wildlife experience from our camps is unique and offers a different face to the incredible Maasai Mara ecosystem.

The camp is fully inclusive of a wide range of wildlife viewing and outdoor activities, all meals, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including imported spirits and champagne.

Complimentary WIFI is available for guests’ use in their suite. Mara Nyika Camp can accommodate 14 guests sharing in 3 double or twin-configured guest suites and 2 x 2-Bedroom family suites. Children from 6 years are welcome and can be accommodated in the family suites. Private game drive vehicle hire is available.

Activities at the camp include; early morning, late afternoon, and night game drives in an open, 4×4 vehicle as well as the option of getting to know more about the local Maasai Community. Balloon flights across the Maasai Mara can be arranged but are at an additional cost.
