Mara Springs Safari Camp

Mara Springs Safari Camp is situated on the foot of Naunare Hills in Siana Wildlife Trust – adjacent to Masai Mara Game Reserve in a prime game-viewing area with a spectacular landscape alongside the forested banks of Sekenani River.

The camp is located only 3 km from the main entrance of the Masai Mara Game Reserve and derives its name from the underground springs that supply flowing water to the site.

The camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 280 km. It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes approximately 45 minutes. 

Mara Springs brings you very close to nature… Sleep under canvas in furnished mid-luxury tents with beds and bedding or pitch your own tent on the well-shaded campsite. One can also use the open camping grounds using their own tents or those hired from the Lodge.

Mara Springs Safari Camp’s exclusive self-contained tents are fully furnished and offer a more comfortable stay. The 17 Furnished En-suite Tents come with Hot Showers and Flush Toilets.

To meet varied accommodation demands they provide tents in singles, doubles, triples, or as per family specifications. Visitors can conveniently choose between a full board stay and a self-catering- do-it-yourself option. All en-suite tents are attached to bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets.

The camping grounds are well-kept and can be lit up at night by a generator with prior arrangements. There are four camping grounds with all the basic facilities.

A separate dining mess is reserved for residents staying in the exclusive self-contained tents. Mara Springs Safari Camp resident cooks prepare well-balanced, sumptuous, and delicious meals for those on full-board stay and can be hired to assist those opting for the self-catering option.

The well-trained Chefs offer a three-course mix of African and Continental Buffets which are served in extravagant quantities and quality to ensure our guests are well-fed. Drinks are served from our well-stocked bar.

Mara Springs Safari Camp activities include; nature walks to the surrounding scenic hills, spectacular sundowner from the horizons of the reserve, bike treks, educational folklore, and Maasai dances or the exciting nighttime drives outside the reserve in search of the nocturnal hunters, local dinner experience & bush camping adventure.
