Masai Eco Lodge Kajiado

Masai Eco Lodge is 100 km south of Nairobi and 18km from Kajiado town along the Nairobi-Arusha Highway.  It is a natural haven for team building, conferencing, hiking, bird watching, and relaxing. Situated 18 km away from Kajiado Town, the lodge sits on a 123-acre organic farm. It is close enough to the road that you can’t get lost, yet tucked away into the bush where you will feel like you are ‘in the wild’. Masai Eco Lodge grounds are well-maintained with landscaped yards, a swimming pool, and a welcoming playground.

Masai Eco Lodge has 7  cottages that you can choose from. They each have three en-suite bedrooms, a small lounge, and a kitchenette. The cottages are modestly cozy and spacious, with a nice Maasai theme. The lodge has conference facilities that can hold between 50 to 150 people in their conference room, and multi-purpose hall respectively. The lodge has a 360-degree alluring panorama with an unsurpassed view of breathtaking landscape and a backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The main restaurant has a seating capacity of 75 people. The pool snack bar is up on a deck that has fantastic 360-degree views including Mt. Kilimanjaro.

The Acacia Lounge Bar has an indoor capacity for 50 people with big windows for outside views. It also has an open courtyard with stone seats under a bird-populated acacia tree. Next to this courtyard is an upstairs sun deck that sits up to 15 people from which one has a 360-degree view of the undulating landscape and the mighty Kilimanjaro. Across the Acacia lounge bar is a bonfire amp theatre sitting 40 people and built right next to the barbeque kitchen.

There are well-manicured grounds with breathtaking views for team building, parties, weddings, and shows with a standing/sitting capacity for over 2000 people. There is a swimming pool with a capacity of 40 people and fantastic views. There are children’s playground amenities and a beach volleyball pitch.  There is a 12-obstacle course facility for team building. Other outdoor activities are quad-bike and go-cart riding, cycling, hiking, agri-tourism and eco-tourism.

Masai Eco Lodge Kajiado is a 2.5-star rustic accommodation located within a 123-acre organic farm in Kajiado, 11 km from Bisil town on your way to Namanga from Nairobi. The lodge is situated 100 km from Nairobi city centre and 18 km south of Kajiado town and about 77 km from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Masai Eco Lodge has 7 cottages, 15 traditional manyattas, dorm tents and a camping site. Each cottage has 3 en-suite bedrooms, spacious sitting area, hammock hangers, well equipped kitchen and verandah.

The Manyattas are small igloo-type huts traditionally made by the Masai with authentic Masai art, en-suite bathrooms and an outdoor fire place. Dorm tents are best for large groups and have a fire place close by. The campsite is where guests can hire a tent or pitch their own tents.

The onsite restaurant serves a wide selection of local and international cuisine. Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining area or in the outdoors. The lodge offers nurturing organic foods and detoxing menus which is produced on the organic farm.

The well-stocked bar offers a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks. The lodges has conference facilities that hold 25 to 60 guests. The halls are fitted with projectors, PA systems, writing materials and stationery.

This provides ideal venues for meetings, conferences and other corporate events. There are well manicured gardens ideal for weddings, parties, meetings and team building accommodating over 2000 guests.

Activities at the lodge include; bird watching, nature walks, hiking, quad biking, go-kart competition and field sports like football. Guests can also engage in organic farm activities like, cow herding and milking the goats and cows. There is an outdoor swimming pool where guest can unwind and have a swim.
