Mawe Camp Serengeti is an eco-luxury tented camp located in Ngarenanyuki River Just east of Seronera airstrip in Central Serengeti. The Camp is situated 37.9km from the center of Serengeti.

Mawe Camp can be accessed by road or air. The closest Airstrip Is Seronera. Nyamara Kopjes is 12 km from the accommodation, while Thach Kopjes is 28 km away.

The camp provides the best game viewing at the heart of Serengeti throughout the year, facing Ngarenanyuki river Mawe Camp, an ideal base camp for all game drives through Serengeti. Mawe camp blends luxury and simplicity in a fantastic game-experience setting that will please any real nature enthusiast.

Serengeti Mawe Camp features only 12 luxury tented rooms including 3 family rooms with excellent views of the savannah and plains of Serengeti. Each tent is equipped with comfortable king-size or twin beds and features en suite facilities such as a shower, hand-wash basin, and a flush toilet.

The camp offers freshly prepared meals by the kitchen team which include buffet lunches & plated food for dinner. An African Night under the Stars with local African delicacies is one of the highlights as well as  “live cooking” and different theme nights. Delicious desserts by our pastry Chef are served at lunch & dinner time.

The camp is fully lit by solar power, making it the most Eco-friendly possible giving you the most comfortable nights in the Serengeti. The camp features; Free wifi, Restaurant, Bar & Sundowner. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries.

Activities available from Mawe Camp Serengeti include; includes game drives, balloon rides, Walking Safaris, sundowners, photographic safaris, honeymoon packages, etc. Honeymoon, Anniversary & Birthday on request.

* A bed levy of 1% per person a night is not included
* Rates are exclusive of concession fees which are payable at the National park’s entry gates
* Christmas And New Year’s Eve Supplement – A supplement of 25 US Dollars per person/ per night on the 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st Dec, and 1st of Jan

Children  Policy:

* Children under 4yrs sharing with adults – Free
* Children above 15 years will be charged the full adult rate
* Children under 12 years are not allowed to stay alone in a tent
* Children between 4-15 years occupying their own room will be charged 75% of the room rate
* Children between 13-15 years occupying their own room will be charged 75% of the single room rate
* Children between 4-15 years sharing with 1 adult will be charged 75% of the adult per person sharing rate
* Children between 4-15 years sharing with 2 adults will be charged 50% of the adult rate per person sharing

Extra Meals:
