Mburo Eagle’s Nest Lodge is a budget accommodation built on a high hill and borders Lake Mburo National Park at Sanga gate. The location on a hill gives the guests a 3 dimension view of the park and the surrounding areas. The park is just about three and a half drive from Uganda’s capital Kampala

Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s smallest national park. The park has more than 68 mammal species, including zebra, impala, topi, eland, bushbuck, buffalo, warthog, leopard, hyena, and jackal. There are no elephants or lions in the park, which makes it an ideal place for walking safaris.

Mburo Eagle’s Nest Lodge consists of 10 African safari tents with verandas overlooking Lake Mburo National Park. Each room is furnished with twin beds. Aside from the main accommodation, Eagle’s Nest offers non-self-contained tents. These are comfortably furnished with 2 single beds with a bedside table and a power outlet for charging your electrical equipment.

Every safari tent has its own veranda, overlooking the park. The bathrooms are real bush experiences. 

All tents are placed under a grass thatched roof which creates your private terrace and provides some welcome shade. The tents share a communal ablution block with showers and flushing toilets.

Located in the middle of the camp is the reception /restaurant/ bar building. During your dinner, you will hear the sounds of the bush, roaring lions, chirping crickets, and grunting bush pigs.

Activities at Mburo Eagle’s Nest Lodge include; Game drives, hiking and nature walks, boat trips, horseback safaris, and fishing.
