Mburo Safari Lodge is a luxury and eco-friendly lodge in Lake Mburo National Park in Kiruhura District. Mbarara Town and Ryatonde Town are a few minutes away from Mburo Safari Lodge.
Mburo Safari Lodge is situated in Lake Mburo National Park in Kiruhura District, it is said to be one of the most enchanting places in Uganda. Mburo Safari Lodge is the best place in the country to see markedly different faunal species which cannot be easily found elsewhere in Uganda: Zebra, Impalas, and Eland Antelopes.
The Lodge boasts of its excellent accommodations which comprise the main Lodge, cottages, honeymoon cottage & a family cottage, all raised on a wooden platform and covered by a grass-thatched roof, perfectly blending with the natural environment, stylishly and thoughtfully designed for your absolute comfort, convenience, and pleasure.
Each is equipped with clean private bathrooms with hot showers and toilets, private balconies, handcrafted wooden furniture, comfortable king-sized beds, mosquito nets, and wardrobes all opening out to their private balconies.
In the Family Cottage, the parents have their children nearby in combination with some privacy. Some cottages have a full kitchen. All rooms are privately situated, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you.
All cottages enjoy glass doors leading to a screened-in porch and magnificent views of the national park. The cottages are very private, so for people willing it is possible to leave the curtains open and see the early morning sunrise.
For people who want to be close to nature, our bush camping is the best option. The campground is well-located and equipped with flushing toilets, showers, and electricity. Clients can choose to use their own tents or we can provide good safari tents. Campers can cook for themselves or eat in a restaurant. The campground is well-marked, leveled, and well-drained.
Other lodge facilities include a High-Class Restaurant, 2 lounge rooms with a lot of privacy, Well stocked bar, a Swimming pool, and Free Wifi in the restaurant, lounge, and bar. The restaurant has a gift shop.
On the ‘Mburo Rocks’ we make Bush Fires and special event breakfasts, lunches, or dinners. The ‘Mburo Rocks’ are also the best place to see the spectacular sunrise.
