Migunga Tented Camp Lake Manyara Tanzania

Migunga Tented Camp Lake Manyara Tanzania is a 3-star lodge set in the North West of Lake Manyara. The camp is ideally situated in the shade of an acacia forest, only 5 minutes from the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park, 130 km west of Arusha, and 3 km from the small town of Mto wa Mbu.

This is the ideal base camp to discover the beautiful surroundings of Lake Manyara or pay a cultural visit to the colorful town of Mto Wa Mbu.

Migunga Tented Camp Lake Manyara Tanzania has 21 permanent tents, each en-suite with mosquito nets, a verandah, a bathroom with a shower, flush toilet, wash hand basin, towels, soap, and bottled water.

All the tents are discretely placed around a central glade, offering shade and privacy, but still only a short walk to the restaurant and bar. There is an onsite restaurant, bar, and reading area.

At Migunga Camp you wake up in the morning to the sound of the forest, with beams of the sun finding their way through the tall trees. In the afternoon you can enjoy watching the vervet monkeys muck about on the central field. The evenings are resonating with the typical sounds of forest creatures, making your fairytale complete.

* Campsite Migunga – 12 US Dollars per person per night, all seasons
* Day rooms are available and can be used between the hours of 11 AM to 6 PM
* Christmas Supplement 24, 25, 26, 31 December, and 1 January – 25 US Dollars Per Person
* The latest check-out time is 6 PM. A room can be shared by a maximum of 4 people for showering etc
* Guests should be aware that there may be inadequate hot water for all four persons due to the water heaters being individual to each cottage
