Mombasa Day Tour Mamba Village Crocodile Farm Trip

The Mamba Village Crocodile Farm Day Tour of Mombasa takes you to Mamba Village, the Largest Crocodile Farm in Africa, home to over 10,000 crocodiles. The farm is located 10 kilometers from Mombasa Island, along the Nyali area at Links Road, opposite the Nyali Golf Club, and en route to all nearby major hotels along the Kenyan North Coast.

Mamba Village sits right next to WILD WATERS – a Family Entertainment Park. The crocodile farm tour is one of the must-see attractions of Mombasa. Enjoy watching crocodiles being fed, have a drink, and sample crocodile meat in Nyali, Mombasa.

Our tour at the crocodile farm begins with a video presentation that reveals the life cycle and behavior of crocodiles, followed by a step-by-step walk through the farm, and ends with a spectacular scene of bloodthirsty crocodiles fighting for food during feeding time.

This is the most interesting part of the visit, as crocodiles leap into the air, fighting each other to grasp the meat. In one particular section, there is a 5-meter-long man-eating “big daddy”, a crocodile known to have killed 5 people before it was subdued.

This blind, 120-year-old one-ton crocodile is the main attraction at East Africa’s largest crocodile farm. To wrap up the visit, superbly grilled crocodile is served at the Mamba Restaurant. The firm has a feeding schedule every day at 1700 Hours, and it is incredible to see the crocodiles leap a few meters out of the water to grab a bite of meat.

A tour of the firm would be wonderful and take 2 and a half to three hours, including visiting the Crocodile Farm, camel riding within the same compound, Horse riding, or the Mamba Restaurant, which offers a wide range of crocodile meat and seafood.

Also available is the Mamba Disco, Open daily and most full-on Fridays and Saturdays. For tourists, every day is an experience!
