Mtoni Resort is a 3-star hotel located at Tigithi Ridge, next to the Tigithi River, 2.7km from the center of Naromoru town towards Nanyuki off the Nyeri-Nanyuki Highway. Separated from Solio Ranch by the river. Nanyuki is 20 km from the Resort while Nyeri is 30 km away. The nearest airport is Nanyuki Airstrip approximately 10 km from the accommodation. The accommodation facility is sandwiched between the crispy iced Mt. Kenya to the east and the sprawling Aberdare Ranges to the west. The Resort offers you spectacular views from the hotel’s beautifully erected viewpoints.
Mtoni Resort has 10 rooms in 5 cottages (each with two rooms). Three cottages have interconnecting rooms while three are independent units each with two rooms. The cottages have two entrance doors and two balconies each for every room. Every cottage has one room with a garden entrance and the other one with a garden-facing balcony.
The Resort features different accommodation types (Deluxe rooms, Double or Twin rooms with Garden View, Standard Double or Twin rooms & Riverline Cottages). Each cottage is a beautiful blend of the African hut endowed with a rustic finish.
Each of the cottages has two spacious deluxe rooms with a beautiful balcony view. The handcrafted finishes attract warmth and an ambiance of traditional melting onto the modern. Some cottages have a river frontage with beautiful natural views of the Solio plains from the balcony.
