Mukima House Laikipia is a luxury country retreat home for rental in Nanyuki at the foothills of Mount Kenya Laikipia Kenya. The villa is built on Mukima Farm with clear views of Mount Kenya and the Loldaiga Hills from all corners of the property.

Mukima House is a 15-minute drive outside Nanyuki Town (6 km North of Nanyuki) on the Timau road. The House is built on Mukima Farm and is a 20-minute drive from the sleepy but colorful town of Nanyuki, in the northern part of Kenya. The flying time is about one hour from Nairobi and only 3.5 hours by road.

Mukima House – a luxurious boutique country house designed with themes of the colonial era and beautiful views of Mt. Kenya’s snow caps.  The house has large manicured gardens ideal for weddings and social events. Due to its close proximity to Nanyuki Airport, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and Nanyuki town, Mukima’s house is ideal for family getaways and honeymoons.

The fully staffed house accommodates 16 guests in 8 en-suite bedrooms. The luxurious house has en-suite bedrooms, a games room, a house office with broad-band satellite connection, a large kitchen, laundry room, cloakroom, drawing room, dining room, and an upstairs gallery.

Each en-suite bedroom fuses imported Indonesian pieces in its interior designs. The rooms also feature a fireplace. The house is designed with a fully equipped kitchen suitable for self-catering.

The house has well-trained chefs known to prepare personalized menus which include local and international cuisine. Mukima House features an oval swimming pool, a children’s pool, a pool house with an open-air dining area, a sauna, a spa, and a tennis court.

Mukima Estate has three rental options (Mukima house (main house), Boathouse Cottage, and Makutano house cottage). All sharing most amenities.

Mukima House Laikipia Activities include swimming, sauna, massages, tennis, badminton, boating, fishing, and nature trails – with golf, rock climbing, trekking, fly fishing, white water rafting, quad biking, horse riding, and mountaineering all available nearby.

Other activities that are in close proximity to the house including Game drives, walking safaris, and horse riding can be arranged on nearby ranches and reserves, and visits to the Aberdares National Park, Samburu National Park, and Mount Kenya.
