Mara River Lodge has 80 guest rooms, comprising 78 rooms and 2 deluxe two-bedroom suites, each with views of the Mara River from the veranda. Each room has a workspace, a mosquito net, black-and-white accents, and a wooden floor.

The rooms are decorated in vibrant Maasai colors with bright fabrics and rugs. Timber beams support the thatched roof that keeps the rooms warm in the cold Mara weather.​

The on-site open restaurants cater for local and international cuisines, as well as an exclusive vegetarian Kitchen. Bush meals are also catered for in the wild, be it a bush breakfast early in the morning next to the river or an in-house outdoor dinner in the lodge grounds.

The ViewPoint Bar and rest area offer a spectacular view of the Mara River and the animals. Guests can order a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from the bar which can be enjoyed by the poolside.

Mara River Lodge in the Masai Mara has a well-manicured lawn ideal for outdoor activities and a well-equipped meeting room that seats up to 50 guests. The lodge also arranges and hosts wedding ceremonies.

During hot afternoons, guests can cool off in the outdoor swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy cocktails at the bar by the swimming pool or sit around the fire on the veranda watching the nightly game going to graze undisturbed on the plains.
