The tours begin with a pick-up from your accommodation at dawn to get to the park not much after sunrise when animals are most active.
On these day trips, you get to visit parks like Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Ngare Ndare Forest, Aberdare National Park, Climbing Mt Kenya, Lolldaiga Hills, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, and Samburu National Reserve. Arriving at the park/ reserve you check in and embark on an exciting game drive in the untamed bush.
You spend the morning looking for animals. Early morning, before it gets too hot, is a good time to spot predators on the prowl. If you’re lucky you’ll be able to see some thirsty animals drinking before heading off on the afternoon game drive.
You can see the Big 5 including the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and African buffalo, even in such a short amount of time. During the game drive, we pause to watch any interesting animal or bird sightings and take photographs. We also stop to stretch our legs and enjoy lunch at the picnic area.
Then we make our way back through the national park watching for wildlife action along the way. We exit the park later in the afternoon and get dropped off back at your hotel/accommodation early evening, bringing your action-packed day safari to a close.
Our 1-day safaris are conducted in a safari mini-vehicle or 4×4 Landcruisers, (modified closed vehicles with a pop-up roof). They seat 7 passengers and feature windows that open and close individually.
