Natron River Camp Tanzania

Natron River Camp is an intimate safari accommodation situated near Lake Natron, the Lake is home to the Hominid footprints, the largest breeding ground for Lesser Flamingo & Ol Doinyo Lengai, the only active carbonatite volcano in the world.

The camp is located alongside the main road just south of Natron village in a shady location alongside the riverbed.

Natron River Camp has 8 safari tents and 1 family tent with en-suite bathrooms with a shower, toilet, and a washbasin. Each tent has its own private veranda with a garden view. Each room is powered and has a separate bathroom and garden view. Some of them also have a tree-shaded terrace. There is also a comfortable mess tent with an amazing view of Mt Lengai where meals are being served.

There are also hammocks to just relax and enjoy the day. The property features a swimming pool where guests enjoy the view of the active volcano mountain which is Ol Doinyo Lengai (Mountain of God).

Activities available from Natron River Camp include; safari in Natron Area, climbing Mount Ol’Doinyo Lengai, swimming, picnic, a massage from a local Maasai, walking safari to Lake Natron & Visit Engare Sero waterfalls. Take a short walk to the lake or cool off in the waterfalls.
